Park on lawful private property in a safe work area, keep the keys and recent repair history available, describe the exact symptom, and avoid clearing faults or disconnecting the battery unless safety requires it.
Choose a lawful, safe place to work
The vehicle should be on private property or in another lawful work area with the owner or property holder's permission. Leave enough room to open the hood and doors safely. Avoid active traffic lanes, steep slopes, unstable ground, fire lanes, restricted garages, and locations where tools or an open vehicle would create a hazard.
Mobile appointments are stationary and non-custodial: you retain the vehicle and keys, and no overnight storage is provided. Some repairs, programming paths, lifting, disassembly, or safety-sensitive concerns may require a controlled shop environment instead.
Keep the symptom evidence intact
Write down the exact dashboard message and what the vehicle does before, during, and after the concern. Note whether it changes with rain, heat, a cold start, time parked, road vibration, accessory use, or a jump start. A short photo or video captured when the problem occurs can be attached to the request.
- Do not clear faults solely to make warning lights disappear before the visit.
- Do not disconnect the battery unless the owner's manual or an immediate safety issue requires it.
- Gather the full VIN, current mileage, battery age, and recent repair or modification history.
- Have every available key and any prior scan report or invoice nearby.
- Tell us before arrival if the vehicle is immobilized, unsafe to power up, or has visible heat, smoke, fluid, or collision damage.
Make access simple without disassembling the car
Remove personal items only when they block the diagnostic connector, battery area, fuse panels, trunk access, or the symptom location. You do not need to remove trim or open electronic modules. Unnecessary disassembly can disturb an intermittent fault or create new damage.
If an alarm, aftermarket radio, camera, tracker, lighting kit, tune, or recently installed module may relate to the concern, identify it in advance. Do not hide modifications; accurate history helps keep the testing path focused.
Send the exact address before travel is quoted
Send the vehicle, symptom, exact Memphis-area service address, and contact details first. The address is used to verify coverage, calculate round-trip travel, and plan safe arrival; it is not stored in the optional 90-day browser cookie. Titan Diagnostics then reviews whether the concern fits a safe mobile scope.
The initial request is free and is not permission to repair the vehicle. If a confirmed appointment requires a travel reservation, it is itemized separately before dispatch and covers only the approved round-trip travel—not the diagnostic service. The diagnostic fee remains due separately under the agreed scope.
Any later return trip is itemized and approved separately before scheduling. Cancellation or rescheduling terms are shown before a travel reservation is paid, and additional work requires a separate scope rather than an open-ended parts list.
