Customer rights and service terms
Our standard is simple: a written scope, a clear price limit, no surprise work, and a record both sides can keep.

Consumer's Rights
- You may request a written estimate for repairs costing more than $250.
- You may not be charged more than 25% above a written estimate without your consent or a good-faith attempt to obtain it.
- You may not be charged for repairs you did not originally authorize without your consent unless the repair facility first makes a good-faith attempt to obtain consent. At least one attempted telephone call is required.
On a repair authorization, this block is shown conspicuously, physically separated from the other terms, and immediately before the customer's signature.
Written authorization and estimates
A website request is only an inquiry. It does not authorize work or a charge. Before service begins, the customer receives a separate, versioned authorization showing the vehicle, exact scope, written estimate, maximum approved amount, and applicable limitations.
Titan Diagnostics uses a stricter change-order rule than the statutory minimum: no added work and no amount above the signed maximum proceeds without another written approval. A missed call is not treated as permission to add work.
Replaced parts
The signing record lets the customer request return or inspection of replaced parts. Return may not be available when a part has a core charge, must be returned to a manufacturer or warranty provider, contains hazardous material, or must be retained or disposed of differently under law.
Standard operating limits
The standard online authorization leaves the vehicle and keys with the customer. It does not authorize towing, storage, overnight custody, a team-member-operated road test, lifting or hoisting, work on brakes, steering, airbags, fuel systems, or high-voltage systems, emissions or safety-system defeat, VIN or odometer changes, unauthorized immobilizer bypass, or an unrecoverable control-unit flash.
Emissions deletes, readiness-monitor suppression, safety-system defeat, odometer or VIN manipulation, and unauthorized access-control bypasses are refused. “Off-road only” wording does not make prohibited work lawful.
Diagnostic, coding, and remote-service limits
A diagnostic report describes observed conditions at the time of service. Intermittent, hidden, future, or unrelated faults may remain. Supported coding and remote assistance depend on accurate vehicle history, compatible hardware and software, lawful access, stable power, and stable connectivity. Unsupported or unsafe work stops.
Titan Diagnostics performs authorized services carefully and in a workmanlike manner, but does not guarantee that one visit will identify every condition or that a vehicle will remain fault-free.
Parts and service concerns
Manufacturer warranties, when available, are passed through with a supplied part and remain subject to the manufacturer's written terms. A customer who believes there is a billing or service error should contact Titan Diagnostics promptly and, when practical, allow a reasonable inspection before another party changes the relevant condition. This process does not remove a nonwaivable statutory right.
Payment, disputes, and records
Invoices identify the linked authorization, line items, discount, tax, total, and due date. A customer may dispute a charge without giving up statutory rights. Signed authorizations, approved changes, invoices, delivery events, and related service records are retained for at least seven years after completion, and longer when a dispute, warranty, tax, legal hold, or other rule requires it.
Private customer messages and notification emails
Messages submitted through a private customer link are stored as business records in the private workspace and are visible only to approved admins. Do not send passwords, full payment-card numbers, card security codes, medical information, or information unrelated to the vehicle service record through the message system.
An email about a message, report, authorization, invoice, or payment is a notification only. Direct replies to the notification email are not monitored and may not reach Titan Diagnostics. Use the private link while active, or call or text the published business number. A private link may expire or be revoked, but the related messages and business records may remain under the retention policy stated above.
For operational reliability, Titan Diagnostics may retain the provider outcome for a service email, such as sent, delivered, delayed, bounced, suppressed, failed, or complained. This operational record is not used for behavioral advertising or automatic marketing. The private workspace does not keep a bulk audience of email opens or link clicks.
Stripe-hosted checkout, refunds, and disputes
When online payment is offered, checkout is hosted by Stripe. Titan Diagnostics does not receive or store full payment-card numbers or card security codes. Titan Diagnostics retains the related invoice and payment identifiers and payment status as part of the service record. Payment of a listed charge does not authorize added work, future work, or a different service.
Refunds and disputes are documented and handled through the applicable invoice and payment-processor workflow. That workflow does not require a customer to waive any nonwaivable statutory right or any dispute right independently available through the customer's payment provider.
Travel reservation payments and mobile appointments
When a travel reservation payment is shown, it is due before dispatch only after Titan Diagnostics discloses the service address, the travel or service-call amount, applicable tax, and the cancellation terms. The payment covers only the disclosed round-trip travel or service call. It is not the diagnostic fee, does not authorize diagnostic work, and does not authorize a repair. Diagnostic service is stated and billed separately after the on-site evaluation, and every repair requires separate itemization and customer authorization before it begins. The customer may cancel before dispatch for a full refund. If Titan Diagnostics cancels or cannot reach the disclosed service address, the payment is refunded. After dispatch, Titan Diagnostics may retain only the disclosed travel or service-call amount earned for the dispatched trip when the customer cancels, is unavailable, or the vehicle or location is inaccessible or unsafe; any unearned amount is refunded. These terms do not limit a stronger cancellation or refund right provided by law.
A final invoice lists the travel or service-call charge, diagnostic service, approved repairs, applicable tax, and payments separately. A travel reservation payment shown as received is applied as a payment credit and is not charged a second time.
Stopping work, cancellation, and refunds
A customer may cancel before service begins without a service charge, except for a specifically approved nonreturnable or special-order item already committed. After authorized work begins, the customer may ask us to stop and is responsible only for authorized work actually completed plus specifically approved parts already committed or installed, subject to any stronger cancellation right under law.
A completed diagnostic charge pays for the approved testing, analysis, and service record—not a guaranteed repair result—and is ordinarily not refundable merely because an intermittent, hidden, future, or unrelated fault later appears. Billing errors, failure to perform the authorized service, and nonwaivable rights remain eligible for correction or refund review.
Tennessee payment and collection limits
Past-due balances may be pursued only through lawful collection remedies. Titan Diagnostics reserves only those lien rights, if any, independently available under Tennessee law. No lien is automatic, and neither an authorization, invoice, nor website statement creates a right to take, disable, retain, tow, repossess, or sell a vehicle.
Titan Diagnostics will not pursue any lien, attachment, storage, retention, auction, title, or similar action unless documented customer authorization exists and every applicable notice, filing, possession, timing, court, and administrative requirement is satisfied. The standard online authorization leaves the vehicle and keys with the customer and does not authorize custody or storage.
Electronic copies and paper option
Electronic signing is optional. Before signing, a customer receives the covered-record disclosure, paper-copy option, withdrawal method, and device requirements. A signed record remains available to view, save, or print. A paper copy is available at no charge by calling (901) 654-8362.
Cancellation and at-home sales
The online authorization workflow is for a visit the customer requested before arrival. Titan Diagnostics does not use doorstep upsells in that workflow. If Tennessee's Home Solicitation Sales Act applies to a particular transaction, the customer's statutory cancellation rights and required notice control over these terms.
Independent business and nonwaivable rights
Titan Diagnostics is an independent service brand of Titan Services Groups LLC. It is not affiliated with, authorized by, sponsored by, or endorsed by BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Volkswagen, MINI, Porsche, or another vehicle manufacturer.
No form, invoice, or website statement releases Titan Diagnostics from fraud, gross negligence, reckless or willful misconduct, or any duty or consumer right that cannot lawfully be waived. If one term cannot be enforced, the remaining lawful terms continue.
